오늘은 다가오는 소방의 날을 맞이하여 지난 시간에 이은 화재2편!
'밀폐공간에서 가스절단 작업을 마치고 가스토치를 방치한 상태로
퇴근하려는 외국인 근로자'편을 준비했습니다^^

가을이 깊어가면서 날씨가 부쩍 춥고 건조해지고 있습니다.

소방의 날 유래, 소방차가 빨간색인 이유까지 보시면서

A(BNI Safety Manager) : Wait, Mr. Tamir, Please remove the gas torch from the gas distributor and store it in the designated place.

A(BNI Safety Manager) : 잠시만요. Mr. Tamir씨, 작업하시던 가스토치를 가스분배기에서 분리하고 지정된 장소에 보관하시길 바랍니다. 

B(Mr. Tamir) : What? I have to get on the bus right now.

B(Mr. Tamir) : 네? 지금 빨리 퇴근버스를 타러 가야하는데요…

A(BNI Safety Manager) : Mr. Tamir, I understand you have been trained in safety. When you are not working, you must disconnect the gas hose from the gas distributor.

A(BNI Safety Manager) : Mr. Tamir씨, 안전교육을 받은걸로 알고 있는데요. 가스호스는 작업을 하지 않을 때는 가스분배기에서 분리하셔야 합니다.

B(Mr. Tamir) : I'm going to do the same job again tomorrow. Can I just leave it like this?

B(Mr. Tamir) : 내일 또 똑같은 작업을 할건데 그냥 두고 가면 안될까요?

A(BNI Safety Manager) : Look at this. The gas torch valve is slightly open and gas is continuously leaking out. If the leaked gas accumulates in the confined space, it may lead to suffocation or explosion when working the next morning. You have violated the golden safety rules. I will issue a sticker to you and conduct special safety training before work tomorrow morning.

A(BNI Safety Manager): 이것을 보십시오. 가스토치 밸브가 미세하게 열려있어서 가스가 계속 세어 나오고 있습니다. 밀폐공간에서 누출된 가스가 누적된다면 다음날 아침에 작업하실 때 질식/폭발사고로 이어질 수 있는 중대한 안전규정입니다. Mr. Tamir씨는 중대위반 안전스티커를 발부하고 내일 아침 작업 전 특별안전교육을 진행하겠습니다.

An accident that exploded the moment the lighter was turned on to light the gas torch for work the next morning after leaving the gas torch unattended in an enclosed space the day before work

작업전날 밀폐된 공간에서 가스토치를 방치하고 퇴근을 하다 다음날 아침에 작업을 하려고 가스토치에 불을 붙이려 라이터를 켠 순간 폭발한 사고 

Causes :  After the gas cutting

1. Gas hose unseparated from gas distributor

2. Gas cutting machine left in a confined space

3. Gas concentration not measured before entering the confined space

발생원인 : 가스절단 작업 종료 후

1. 가스분배기에서 가스호스 미분리

2. 밀폐공간에 가스 절단기 방치

3. 밀폐공간 출입 전 가스농도 미측정

1. After gas cutting work, be sure to separate the gas hose from the gas distributor (at break, lunch, and after work)

2. After gas cutting work, be sure to store the gas torch in a designated place (including the name system)

3. When entering a closed space, be sure to measure the gas concentration before entering.

1. 가스절단작업 후에는 반드시 가스분배기에서 가스호스를 분리 (휴식, 중식, 퇴근시)

2. 가스절단작업 후에는 반드시 가스토치기를 지정된 장소에 보관 (기명제 포함)

3. 밀폐된 공간 출입시 반드시 가스농도 측정 후 출입

To prevent backfire of the gas cutter, check whether the “tip” at the end of the gas cutter is clogged before use. (If the tip is clogged, use a tip cleaner to clean it)

가스절단기의 역화방지를 위해 사용전, 가스절단기의 끝단 “팁”의 막힘 여부 확인하기 (팁이 막힌 경우 팁 클리너를 사용하여 청소)
