오늘은 지난번에 이어 폭염시기 온열질환 예방관리 2편으로 찾아왔습니다^^

“사고는 예방(Preventable)가능하고 컨트롤(Controllable)할 수 있다”

A(Safety Manager) : Today, I will conduct safety training on the prevention and countermeasures of heat-related illness in the heat wave. A heat wave refers to the scorching heat in the summer and is usually over 33 degrees Celsius.

A(Safety Manager) : 오늘은 폭염 속, 온열질환자 예방관리 및 대책에 대해 안전교육을 진행하도록 하겠습니다. 폭염이란 여름철 불볕더위를 말하며 통상 33도 이상의 고온을 말합니다. 

(accidental case) : Let's take a look at the recent fatalities of heatstroke.

(사고사례) : 최근 발생한 열사병으로 추정되는 사망사고에 대해 알아보겠습니다. 

On 9th of June 2020, a daily worker fell down while repairing a cooling device on a overhead crane. The work was carried out at a height of about 20 meters. It is said that the temperature of the site measured after the accident was 43 degrees. It is presumed to be a cardiac arrest death caused by heatstroke. In the past, if overwork in the heat wave is the cause of death, it has been recognized as an industrial accident, an accident on duty. It was acknowledged as a serious accident again. 2020년 6월 9일, 일용직근로자가 천장 크레인에 있는 냉각장치 수리작업을 하다가 쓰러졌다.  약 20m높이에서 진행된 고소작업이었다. 사고 이후 측정한 현장의 온도는 43도였다고 한다. 열사병에 의한 심정지 사망사고로 추정되고 있다. 과거에도 폭염 속 과로는 사망원인으로 업무상 재해 즉 산업재해로 인정되어오고 있습니다. 이번에도 중대재해로 인정이 되었습니다. 기타 과거 사고사례는 동영상을 참조 하시길 바랍니다. 

Each team leader should pay attention to the management of heat-related illness of your employees. In particular, please pay special attention to daily workers and foreign workers.

각 팀장님께서는 소속된 근로자의 온열질환 관리에 주의하셔야 합니다. 특히, 일용직 및 외국인 근로자의 온열질환 관리에 특별한 주의를 기울여주시길 바랍니다. 

Please be sure to understand the countermeasures for each step below.

각 아래의 폭염 위험단계별 대응요령을 반드시 숙지하십시오. 

C(Team leader) : The response depends on the temperature. Thank you. But I am not sure if I'll remember exactly how to respond to this when I'm working.

C(Team leader) : 온도에 따라 대응요령이 각기 다르군요. 잘알겠습니다. 그런데 일하다보면 이런 대응방법을 정확하게 기억을 할런지…. 

A(Safety Manager) :  Yes, we will make and distribute stickers in Korean/English so that you can temporarily attach on the helmets during the heat wave. I hope each team will use this to respond proactively to the upcoming heat wave and actively participate in creating a safe working environment.

A(Safety Manager) :  네 저희가 폭염기간에만 일시적으로 안전모에 스티커로 붙일수 있도록 한글/영문으로 제작하여 배포할 예정입니다. 각 팀별로 활용하시어 다가오는 폭염기간을 선제적으로 대응하여 안전한 작업환경 조성에 적극적으로 참여하여 주시길 바랍니다.
